HAIFA LECTURE ON THE TOPIC OF EDUCATING FOR  TZINUT & CAUTION:Nefesh Yisrael (the association of religious mental  health practitioners) is holding a one-day seminar for the general public on the  topic of "Educating for Tzinut & Caution". The seminar will feature two main  speakers, Rabbi Shlomo Levinstein who is a popular lecturer and the chairman of "Mishmeret HaKodesh & HaChinuch", Bnei Brak and Doron Agassi, B.S.W. who is  the director of "Shalom Banayich", a non-profit organization that identifies and treats children and youth at risk. There will be a panel discussion with audience participation following the two lectures. The seminar will be this Wednesday, April 22nd beginning at 3:30 p.m. It will be in Haifa and in Hebrew.  Anyone interested in attending should contact Aharon Nikop at nikop@012.net.il .  If there will be enough interest from Tsfat, perhaps transportation can be  organized.

PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZING TIP OF THE WEEK - AFTER PESACH So…you made a  great effort and got your home/office in pretty good shape for Pesach and  springtime. Hope you’re enjoying your holiday! Perhaps you’re  thinking about  getting back into your regular routine in a few days? Then this is the time to  think about Improving How You Manage Your Work Time Use a daily planner to  track appointments and tasks. It can be a paper-based notebook, a computer  software program, or an electronic handheld device. Before leaving the office  for the day, highlight those items which MUST get done on the next day.  Break large projects down into small, sequential steps. Allow at lest one hour of uninterrupted time per day to tackle projects and action items.  Allocate twice as much time for a task as you think it will take. It has been grown around the world for over 10,000 years and  is cultivated in 113 countries. For millions of people rice is not just a food -  it's a way of life.Bayer, the German chemical giant, has created a  genetically engineered (GE) variety of rice that will put our health, our  agriculture and our biodiversity at risk. (the GMO rice will tolerate a higher  doses of pesticide, used one the surrounding weeds, called Glufosinate .  Glufoisnate (of course

manufactured by BAYER as well) is considered to be so  dangerous to humans and the environment that it will soon be banned in Europe in  accordance with recently-adopted EU legislation.that is injurious to ones  health.The European Union (EU) will soon decide whether or not Bayer's GE  rice can end up on European dinner plates. But this will not only affect  Europeans. If the EU approves the import of Bayer's GE rice, farmers in the US  and elsewhere may soon start planting the manipulated crop.Stopping GE rice  is not just about consumer choice or the environment - it's a lot bigger than  that.  INFORMATION: SUN BLESSING/PESACH:Chabad House in the Old City  has a sheet prepared for the Bracha on the Sun with the appropriate tehillim,  etc. It is all in Hebrew. Rabbi Baruch Marzel at Chabad House says that anyone  who wants to make some available in their neighborhood, is welcome to pick them  up & hand them out. To find the tehillim & print them in advance in  English (in the past when I try to find a certain perek tehillim, by the time I  find it, the group has already finished reciting it. So if you need to find it  in a sefer tehillim, it would be good to prepare it in advance. If you know of a  website that has it all organized for Birchas Ha Hama in English, please post it  to Tzfatline fast. I’m sure lots of people would appreciate it. The following  will help you put together what you need. The tehillim can be found on the  internet in English by a google search. Be sure & use a Jewish source for  the translations. (If you bought the book, Once in 28 Years, Targum Press, in  English, it has a laminated card for the bracha in Hebrew. Eliezer’s Bookstore  doesn’t have any more to sell in stock though.)
